Remember folks, COVID-19 is a deadly virus that spreads so quickly we must shut down our economy and practice social distancing. Unless of you’re protesting and rioting in the name of George Floyd.

It’s no surprise when leftists whip out double standards, but in this case it is particularly outrageous. Since late February liberal voices have been hounding everyone about how we must stay locked down and avoid human contact to “flatten the curve,” and save humanity from the horrors of the coronavirus that originated in China. But now that people are protesting the death of George Floyd… none of that really matters.
You see, it’s a form a magic. If a large group of people gather to protest, riot, loot, vandalize, and assault others the virus just doesn’t spread.
HOWEVER, if you’d like to peacefully enjoy a day at the beach or conduct business then the virus becomes active and you will be putting lives at risk.
The sad truth is that liberals and lefties do not care about what is scientifically accurate and prudent. They only care about what is politically expedient. That’s how they routinely engage in double-think. They can hold to contradictory ideas in their mind and see no problems with it so long as it means the advancement of their cause.
The intellectual dishonesty of the left is repugnant, but it should always be expected.
